Emery Ingham's Shaw Story

ONE DAY John took most of the kids out on his sailboat. Abe was talking about how he would love to take some of the remaining kids out to fish in John's little motor boat but he didn't know how to operate a boat. I said I knew how, I had operated my uncle's boat many times. Okay! So we went fishing. I remember we caught a shark, maybe others. I was bringing the boat into the harbor when I hear John BELLOWING about how much trouble I was in. He actually bumped the sail boat into the motor boat. That was a ton of fun fishing but oh man was he angry with me. Abe smoothed it over since he made the decision. I'll never forget the after-dark jellyfish fights on the beach. They and you glowed in the dark when they hit you.
