The Alumni

Posts honoring MLC's many alumni, whether modestly or publicly distinguished

OVER FIFTY-SEVEN YEARS and counting, the number of students who graduated from MLC's elementary or high school programs, or attended for a year or a few years, must be in the mid four figures. Nobody has a count at their fingertips, but many will be curious.

As becomes quickly clear from reading or hearing or watching stories from MLC alumni, many of us feel an impact and a connection from having attended this unusual school. The effect, for better or for worse, is something like being part of a very large family.

There are cells, cohorts, and age-grades of alumni—those who remained here and formed communities, those who left but kept in touch, the many now aging, the many just getting started, and the ones who distanced themselves.

Some alumni have lived prominent public lives; most of us have lived modest inward ones. But it is a foregone conclusion that there will be stories of every kind our alumni have to tell.

Please click here to access our gallery of alumni.

Please consider telling us your story, or telling someone else's story as you know it, or proposing that we approach some alum you know to ask them about writing or telling their story—or even volunteering to approach and write about someone we propose to you !!!!

The gallery will fill. We will not discriminate.
